2019 is here and it is going to be a great year for the St. Anthony's PTSG and the school. Jan 27th is the Annual PTSG Pancake Breakfast that kicks off Catholic Schools Week (CSW). Our main event is the Jog A Thon set to take place on Jan 30th. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to purchase new computers for the school computer lab. Go Warriors!! Other things going on this month include the 3rd grade Spelling Bee, the 4th- 8th grade Spelling Bee, the Talent show, and the Cultural Awareness Fair. The PTSG is working hard to plan events for school improvements and of course to have fun at. Thank you all.
Hello. The Fall Festival was a huge success. Thank you everyone who attended. Thank you to all the Home Room Parents who helped with the games. And thank you to everyone who helped with the set up and clean up! November is going to be a great month at SAS. The Book Fair is Nov 13- 16. Come by and support the school with your book purchases. Thanksgiving break is the following week and then Box Tops are due the last week in Thanksgiving. Please remember to keep supporting our school and our community by bringing your recyclable cans, glass bottles, and plastic water bottles to the school on Fridays. Happy Fall! October started off with the wonderful Blessing of the Animals in the school courtyard. There was a great turn out of our animal friends! The kids loved seeing all our different animal friends. There is so much going on this month you will have to take a look at the school calendar. We have several field trips to fun and exciting places. The eighth grade has visits to and from different Catholic schools in the area. The End of the 1st Quarter is Oct 19th and report cards will be sent home on Oct 26th. The PTSG Fall Festival will be Oct 26th, Friday, from 5pm- 8pm. The Fall Festival is always a lot of fun for the kids. We will have games, prizes, a bounce house, a haunted house, food and FUN! We hope to see you there.
Help US RAISE SOME $$$- GIVE ALOHA
As September begins, we start up a great donation campaign with the help of a local community partner - Foodland Hawaii. This opportunity increases our donation power as a school and here is how it works:
Shoppers can visit the customer service desk or at check out at any Foodland store on the islands and let them know they want to make a donation to the Give Aloha campaign. When making a donation, give them our school code (77685) and let them know this is where the donation should go. Foodland collects all the donations for us, and then writes a check to St Anthony School for every dollar we donate, plus an extra percentage (at their discretion) to our School. Last year we received a check for over $3600! We are so grateful to Foodland for their partnership and to our families for helping make this donation campaign a success!
We encourage our families to bring your donation receipt to the school office with your family name on it so we can credit your fundraising fee for that amount. The PTSG is happy to host an ice cream party for the class(es) that turn in the highest number of donation receipts (regardless of the amount) or if they accomplish 100% participation (every student's family makes a donation for any amount).

The parish is providing hamburgers and hotdogs. Tents and games will be set up.
Please bring a dish to share, your own drinks, and camp chairs or a blanket to sit on.
Don’t forget to bring your beach towels, sunscreen and beach toys.
Hooray for the new school year! The PTSG has had it’s first meeting of the school year and I wanted to let everyone know about a few things that the PTSG is doing this year. We are asking for Homeroom Parents this year. Someone that can notify the other parents in the room of any activities that we need parent involvement in. Parent involvement is so important to your child’s education that I could write a whole blog just on that subject. And of course we are doing fundraising throughout the year. These are just a few things that PTSG funds sponsored last year; $200 in teacher reimbursement for classroom items and training, vermicomposting bins, compostable plates for lunch, water bottle refill stations (being installed this year), and the awesome renovations to our wonderful library. Hooray! These are some great things that we have been able to do with YOUR help. Thank you!
I wanted to highlight one of our fundraisers because it is so easy to do and it helps to raise $$ for OUR school. The Scrips Program we have. It should be called the “Gift Card Program” because you are literally buying paper gift cards to use at merchants that you shop at anyway. For example, Home Depot. Last year we were doing a lot of remodeling so we bought the “Home Depot Scrips” from the school and used them when we shopped at Home Depot. You can also buy them for gifts. Do you need a quick and easy gift for a birthday party? Why not get a Target Scrip or a Amazon Scrip? It is that EASY to help raise money for OUR school. This year we are going to be selling them at the school either during drop off or pick up. Keep your eyes open for them. There is also a link from the PTSG website (Events-Fundraising-Shop with Scrip) that you can go to and purchase them, then print them out.
